Did your A01 cable lift the amp up like it did for the other user? Tempted to get a pair myself but wondering if a sightly longer cable would stop it doing it, as with the cables being quite chunky I don't think there's much slack hence it causing the lift.

Does anyone else find these uncomfortable after more than an hour or so? I had same issue with the Q701s but that was to do with the awful bumps on the head band digging into my head. They seem to clamp down on my ears and I have to take them of for a bit to stop my ears hurting.

Just phoned the depot who have my parcel and despite telling them about how I don't have to pay the handing fee, they are refusing to budge. I might have to go down there in person and speak to a manager. 

Had a letter through post from Parcelforce today... been charged £47 ($69) in custom fees... ouch

Just picked up a Vali second hand. Only issue is my headphones don't plug into the headphone jack. I'm assuming I need one of those 3.5mm to 6.35mm jack adapters?

Would people say these cans benefit more from a tube amp or non-tube amp? In the process of getting my hands on a 2nd hand Vali but not sure if I'd be better off with the Magni 2 they have for sale instead. I was buying the amp for my Q701s but I'm selling them to pay for these instead.

Tempted by these but already own a pair of Q701s and DT770 Pro. Probably have to part ways with one of them to fund the purchase of these. But which? I wouldn't have a use for three cans. Q701s are my most used out of the two but the bumps really hurt my head after awhile, even with a wool cover...

I have white Q701s although I didn't really have much say in the matter as I bought them off someone else. Since my CALs and DT770s are black, the white is a nice change. Black just makes them look like any other cans in my opinion. 

I got two cables too but even the shorter of the two is twice as long as it needs to be (for me anyway). 

  Yeah I got a black one, goes well with the white & black theme. I just need a short black or white cable as the green one is too long and in wrong colour.
