Best headphones for alternative rock/ male vocals around $100

Thanks for the suggestion, but I could only find ATH-AD900x. And they're $200 so that's double of what I am looking to spend. Still open for suggestions guys.

Best headphones for alternative rock/ male vocals around $100

Well this is what I see when I go to the 558's page:   Note the message: This item does not ship to Maple, Canada.    Seems like most sennheisers aren't shippable to Canada. I'd strongly prefer to buy from amazon.com.

Best headphones for alternative rock/ male vocals around $100

@eyal1983 @martinrajdl   Thanks for the suggestion guys. Unfortunately amazon.com doesn't ship this headphone to canada so that's a bummer. But if it's indeed the best I'll find some way to get them. Still open for suggestions.

Best headphones for alternative rock/ male vocals around $100

The budget is around 100 or so (could go more (even 200) if it is really much better). Full sized, I need it to cover my ears. The most important aspect to me is male vocals in songs. Some example songs of mine that I would listen to (skip to 2/3rds of the song to hear the strong male vocals...

Koss Pro DJ 100 - The Budget King

So, I've finally found a store that lets you try on headphones in Canada (well, I wan't really actively searching for one but found one nonetheless) and in the store I tried out the super-expensive parrot zik. I expected to have my mind blown by the sound quality in comparison to the $50 PRO...

Replace the jack of the headphones

Any easy simple tutorials for beginners on how to replace the jack on headphones? I have to twist my jack a bit until the sound gets normal and when I move it becomes deformed again which gets really annoying.   This is what I'm talking about:

Apply vst effects to stereo mix and send output to speakers.

I've spent hours trying to find a way to record the sounds coming out of the computer and then apply vst effects to them. I can do it in foobar easily since it has a built in vst host but I can't find a way to do it with games that I'm playing or anything that's currently streaming on my...

Quote: What is the jack called? I searched up female 3.5mm jack and I got these male -> female and female to female jacks (none of them had a place to solder the wires at). Any good cheap ones you recommend from ebay? And how hard do you think this is for someone with no headphone internals...

The Nameless Guide To PC Gaming Audio (with binaural headphone surround sound)

Since it says that xear 3d and similar things allow the use of eax in games, does that mean that you can run almost any game in EAX 5.0 with that technology?

Koss Pro DJ 100 - The Budget King

So for some reason the jack is a little messed up and if it bends a little in one direction the sound cuts out or gets weird. As the coiled wire is above ground, every time I move it swings the cable around a bit and the sound gets silent, then normal, then weird, then normal etc. Any way to fix...

Review by 'badhomaks' on item 'Koss PRODJ100'

So, after many many hours of research I finally found a headphone that sounds good and it doesn't go over my limit of $70 in Canada. If I had lived in the U.S. I maybe would have picked up the CAL! instead... but I'm sure glad I didn't! Some impressions:   Comfort: Here's where they fall...

Quote: Front row seems like it doesn't ship to Canada plus I can't contact them and the zomo are $35 + $30 shipping which is almost 1.5x the price of the headphones themselves.   I don't understand why shipping is such a problem. My city is a mere 70-80km away from the border, not like...

Anyone has any other suggestions for m50 pad shops? All ebay ones are fake/overpriced, sweetwater's shipping is only $40, amazon doesn't ship to me, audio-technica's shop and just about everywhere else is sold out. Perhaps any other pad suggestions as all of the other ones in your review you...

What will enhance sound the most that I can make myself and will cost less than $25-30?

Quote: I don't understand the hate for Koss though. They are great quality cans and receive high reviews from many different people. Just because it doesn't have sennheiser or stax in its name doesn't make it bad. Yes Koss aren't known for super high quality headphones but that doesn't mean...

Are these m50 pads legit? I am asking because there are no other stores that ship pads to Canada for under $24.

What will enhance sound the most that I can make myself and will cost less than $25-30?

Quote: Well the Koss are $90 headphones (but I got them for 50) and have gotten good reviews as far as I know so I don't see the need to downgrade to sennheiser. They sound quite fine to me too and I recently got them.

What will enhance sound the most that I can make myself and will cost less than $25-30?

Quote: But the O2 is a whooping six-fold increase from $25. Hell, it costs almost triple of my headphones. I can't justify spending that much to make it sound perhaps a bit better. Maybe something cheaper? Quote:   I mostly listen on pc (90%) and when I go out I use my Ipod...

What will enhance sound the most that I can make myself and will cost less than $25-30?

Is it a DAC or maybe some Amp. Have literally 0 experience in diy field. I first off wanted to start with a CMoy but was wondering if there were any better solutions to enhance the sound. I've looked around but most of the other DIY's cost way more than my budget. I've also check some headphone...
