BBE SonicMax Pro iTunes app
Did another comparison and SonicMaxPro wins for me. BBE SonicMaxPro - Basically the most balanced sound, has more powerful and clear bass/heavy guitars with just enough atmosphere and reverb to give a full not muddy sound Denon Audio Equalizer- Great EQ IMO, I can't see how this as an EQ can be...- rn3037

BBE SonicMax Pro iTunes app
Got the SonicMax Pro for my 3rd Gen iPod Touch. It's good but TO ME, it sounds similar to the free Denon Audio Equalizer but with a cleaner more refined sound. I've been going back and forth and can't think of any stand outs. As far as EQ apps, the biggest difference I noticed was with a trial...- rn3037

Need help with EQ apps(iPodTouch4G)!!!
Xtron, big DT fan myself. I have the Denon app and when I compare it to the stock EQ it blows it away with the 10 bands you can adjust. I'm curious to see how the SonicMaxPro sounds compared to it. I am not sure how much better another EQ app can be than the free Denon Audio one- rn3037

iPhone / iPod equalizer app for best music listening experience
Very cool, thanks! I'm wondering how much better the other EQ apps could be if you're adjusting basically the same frequencies, ya know?- rn3037

iPhone / iPod equalizer app for best music listening experience
I got the Denon Audio app for my iPod touch 3G. It has up to a 10 band EQ, I think it's sounds pretty damn good. I agree with the queue thing, you also can't fast forward songs.- rn3037

FLAC vs. 320 Mp3
Quote: Is the difference in SQ of the source much more apparent when using FLAC vs. MP3's at 256 or 320? Like iPod touch 3G/4G vs. J3 vs. classic 5.5 etc....- rn3037

Your opinion on 3rd Gen Ipod touch?
I have a 3rd Gen Touch on it's way and I plan on trying some of these EQ apps. I got a pretty good deal on the 64GB touch so I think it'll do it's job with my M50's and SP51's. I'm coming from a 1st Gen Touch so the upgrade to 3rd gen coupled with EQ should be a tremendous difference! I...- rn3037

Anyone tried the 'Equalizer Pro' app on iphone/ipod?
I have an iPod Touch 3g 64gb coming soon and I was looking for an EQ app, I will probably go with the SonicMax. Question How much different would the iPod Classic version 5.5-7 (rockboxed w/ EQ) be versus the 3G Touch with the EQ app? I know you can't rockbox the touch so I'm curious to...- rn3037

Audio technica m50
I have a set of M50's on their way as my first phile phones, my buying metrics were price/un-amped/closed. I did hear that these shine even more with an amp even though it's not needed to hear the true song phrasing.- rn3037

ATH M50
Not sure about the right smartphone, I have the HTC EVO 4G LTE and it has the Dre Beats tech, sound like an overboosted spacially bass sound to all the songs. I actually bought the M50's so I look forward to reviewing their sound.- rn3037

Audio Technica M50
I have a set of M50's' on the way too, did a lot of comparing. My main purpose is ipod use and also late night computer. I like these because they don't need an amp but I did hear from an audiophile reviewer that they shine even more with an amp so I will be comparing my stereo receiver to the...- rn3037

M50
I was debating over an open design but for my first phile type over ear phones I'm going with the M50's as they seem very consistent with performance.- rn3037
