Audeze closed-back prototypes! Yeah, this is one of the headphones at the top of my wish list.
Oregonian, those are amazing looking. They make the D7000 look plain, and they were always my favorite headphone looks wise!! Congrats on those man!!!!- -Shadow-

Sennheiser HD650 & Massdrop HD6XX Impressions Thread
The Little Dot is only a amp. I used one for over a year with my 650's and I think it pretty good. I still use it now and then but it's not my main amp anymore.- -Shadow-

Sennheiser HD650 & Massdrop HD6XX Impressions Thread
Great information IEMCrazy. I must be one of the lucky ones running toslink from the mother-board on my computer. Every DAC I have or had sounded better using it over USB if it had the option. When I got my Bifrost I didn't even consider the USB model because of this. Note I am using Silflex...- -Shadow-

Schiit Owners Unite
When I was in contact with Jason from Schiit a couple weeks ago and were discussing either the Lyr or Valhalla for the HD650 he said either was fine. He said it basically came down to if I was going to go Ortho headphones or not as which to choose. I am jumping into Ortho headphones next so I...- -Shadow-

I got the Lry/Bifrost combo yesterday and so far they have sparked some new life into HD650 for me. I was exploring other headphones, but I think for now my urge has been cured for a little while anyway.- -Shadow-

**He400 vs Hd650**
Very nice review MattTCG. The more reviews I read on the HE-400 makes me think that's the way I should go, but my heart tells me I want the HE-500. I just wish there was somewhere local that had these so I could go listen instead of having to make a decision based on words. UGHHHH!! ...- -Shadow-

I am thinking of either getting a pair of the HD25-1 II or DT1350. They will be paired with a FiiO e11 and l9 cable to either a iPad or iPhone if this makes a huge difference. I listen mainly to metal, but the very slow Funeral Doom and some Doom/Death. Funeral Doom makes up the majority...- -Shadow-
