    Earbuds Round-Up

Just noticed who I was replying too, I need to pay better attention haha. Hope my input was helpful. Love your products btw, I'm looking to upgrade to the zen dac v2 soon. Do you think that would be a better match for the Serratus? If there's another product you think would be better let me know...

    Earbuds Round-Up

First gen hipdac. The balanced output makes a big difference, if I use the adapter and the single ended output I have to increase the volume to at least 50%. To my ears the hipdac drives these very well, although I don't have any other amps to compare to. I'm sure it would scale nicely with a...

    Earbuds Round-Up

Well this just happened. Guess I'm jumping in head first haha. Initial impressions: very balanced, good clarity. Nice and airy. Good bass, not overpowering but not anemic. Instruments sounds amazing. I prefer the lighter plastic housing compared to the metal ones from ff3. Cable is really nice...

    Earbuds Round-Up

Recently joined the earbud party with the ff3. Really like them. Now I'm really interested in trying a higher end pair like something from TGXear. Any other brands I should check out?

    "The Lab"

Awesome man! A late congrats on the job and marriage haha! I've considered grabbing some of those sony bookshelfs. They were on sale recently for $75 a pair. Kicking myself I didn't get any! I need to step up my subwoofer game. I'm using a budget sony one but would love to upgrade to an svs. The...

    "The Lab"

Hey Ap616! :beerchug:Glad you checked in now I don't feel as out of place haha. Any new audio setups? I'm currently using an ifi hipdac with the he400i headphones and blessing 2 dusk iems. I've also branched out into speakers, some jamo s803 bookshelfs. Lot's has changed but even years later I'm...

    Moondrop in-ear monitors Impressions Thread

Hi everyone. I've been very pleased with the moondrop starfields. Their tuning matches my tastes perfectly. Only thing I'd prefer is a lighter housing as they are a bit heavy and tend to come unsealed from my ear with too much movement. I've tried multiple tips including the stock, blue t2 foam...

Hope to audition these again soon, perhaps tomorrow. Will report back. From last time I remember the bass being nice and punchy.

True! Also that album sounds great with hd598, which have spacious soundstage.

    Havi b3 pro 1 thread 2.0

If anyone has access to a quality version of Infected Mushroom - Saeed, I highly recommend listening to it with the B3. The best soundstage I've heard from it so far. It almost makes me uncomfortable, how "out of head" it sounds.

    Havi b3 pro 1 thread 2.0

Thanks! I'm glad I can finally use them now lol. They've been sitting in a drawer for over a year! Would you believe I came across Sony hybrids in a clearance bin at an airport electronics store?! I think I have 2-3 full sets of them (like all the sizes from xs-xxl) lol!

    Havi b3 pro 1 thread 2.0

Hey guys good news! As you might remember I've had a frustrating time with my B3's. Well I decided to try some different tips with them (Sony hybrid xl) and I think it resolved my problems. Listening to them right now through my dragonfly and WOW. They sound really good.

$1-$25 USD- Favorite budget in-ear monitors- General consensus poll- Read rules first!

Meeaudio m9 Classic, rx-18, m6. Soundsoul s-018. Monoprice 108320. Penon iem (not sure if it counts, is $10 with another purchase). Those are the only ones I own under $25 usd. Out of those I like the m9 classics the best.

New Dragonfly Black and Red Discussion

Anyone know of a small USB hub that would work for iOS? I have one but it's an awkward shape. Would be nice to find one that could be "stacked" similar to an amp or something. I still have the df 1.2v so I need a hub :(

Glad to hear it's not warm sounding out of the box! On another note, since these are iOS compatible it should work with any music apps right? Like Spotify, or even mixing apps like GarageBand?

xDuoo X2 - small lossless player with microSD and OLED!

Sorry, I wasn't very clear with my originally comment. What I meant to say is "I love the x2 except it cannot shuffle all folders. Therefore I am tempted to buy an x3 and install rockbox." ;)

    Havi b3 pro 1 thread 2.0

I wouldn't be surprised if I got the pro2s in a box marked pro1. Or maybe that signature just isn't for me. I don't really have anything to compare them to except my old hd598s. The b3s def have more bass/mid bass.

    Audeze EL-8 Impressions Thread

Yes I agree! I've demoed the hd600/650, hd700, hd800, and other acclaimed full sized cans and these were my favorite (although the hd600 was really good too!).
