What do you all consider to be a "proper amp" for the 650s? I keep on reading that they need to be properly amped in order to get them to their potential but what does that imply? I imagine an E7/E9 combo isn't "proper", or is it?

My main concern is if the Fiio e7 does the 650s justice, it says it can power up to 300 Ohms and that's the impedance of the 650s so it should be good right? I am considering just pairing the e7 with the e9 but if it isn't necessary then I won't do it. Maybe there is a better amp for around the...

First of all. Beats aren't even an option. I've listened to both of these headphones and I own the m50's. The m50's are the one you want. Don't be worried about people saying it doesn't have any bass. The bass is powerful, controlled and clear. Not like the muddy beats. Best bang for your buck...
