    The discovery thread!

I have th JVC FX1X and FX40, are the Delta's worth getting? What about S2 and M200 (I know they are in another price category but I'm just comparing those two excluding the FX40 and Deltas)?   Also, Momentums would be the way to go, VMODA M100 or the M500?

    First headphones advice needed!

You want headphones with base? Perhaps wireless headphones with a base? Not sure what you mean...   Perhaps you mean bass? In this case, i suggest the HFI 580 and strongly recommend not speaking about Beats in these forums.

    Upgrade from m50

I can honestly recommend the HFI 580s. Amazing BASS. Much better than the one of the M50s. They are great, currently using them to listen to music and post this. I've had a lot of people recommend the DT770s but remember that there is three versions of it: 32 ohms, 80 ohms and 200 ohms (i...

    ATH M50's issue.

Quote: They seem legit but I'd return the headset and get the same one, might be a defective unit. Hopefully, it's still under warranty. I think Audio Technica offers a seperate warranty, you should look into it if you aren't holding a warranty with sweetwater.

Searching for headphones under $150USD for home use!

Try the HFI 580 from Ultrasone, I received them about 3 days ago and I am enjoying them quite a lot. Good bass, not basshead cans though, soundstage is decent.   edit: they don't have a removable cable but that can be modded if you wish to but you can also just tie the cord to make it...

    ATH M50 vs V MODA M-80

Quote: There's a Canada Computer in front of my house. I decided to get the M-80s. Most votes went for it and I already own the HFI 580 which has been known to be better than the M50 for most. Problem with Canada Computers is that, it's the white version which doesn't really interest me...

    ATH M50 vs V MODA M-80

Quote: I can get the ATH M50 and/or the V MODA from Amazon US, there is no custom fees since they are calculated at the end right before you order.

    ATH M50 vs V MODA M-80

Hello,   I am currently stuck deciding between these two headsets. I am aware that the V MODA is not a full size and is on-ear can. I can have them shipped to Canada brand new for these prices:   ATH M50 to Canada: 147$ V MODA M-80: $197   I mostly want to use the headphone for home...

So? continuous burn in or with pause and stops now and then? Also, better with noise or just regular music?

By the way, I've been playing my iPod non stop to get my earbuds to burn in but someone told me that it would be better to turn it off. Is it better continuous burn in or with breaks now and then?
