I read that different earpads can influence the sound of phones. Beyerdynamic even mentions that on their "Manufaktur" webpage, that choosing different materials can alter the sound. How does that come? Is it possible to "correct" sound deficiencies of phones by changing pads? Especially to...

Has somebody experience with these. The web page says "minimum moved mass" for the 600 Ohm models. Does that affect the sound in a positive way? How hard are they to drive for an amp? Please help me decide before ordering my new 880s. Thanks a lot!

As the title says I´d like to know some albums that sound great on my "main" phones HD 650 and DT 880. The musical genres to recommend are unlimited (widending my musical horizon couldn´t harm) but it should be a whole album that´s available on CD.

I auditioned these cans in a shop and was impressed by their detail, speed and lean and punchy bass. But I was very concerned with their built quality they appeared very fragile and I can imagine that they deteriorate from use really fast. (For a price of 649 Euros they should last a while.)...
