Want to improve portable setup
Having had those IEM's.. first of all have you your music in Apple Lossless or at least CD ripped AAC? If you do, then please replace those IEM's which I consider to be overpriced and very dim on the mid and high frequencies. I could recommend some ATH Ck55's, or some Sony PIIQ's :)- whitefero

Best Sub-$100 Headphone?
I gave my V6's to my dad (had them for over 3 years). Having the ATH-m50s which are around that $ area.. I would recommend blindly for you to update. Better closed back headphones, with punchier and lively bass. I'd describe them to having close to a V shaped EQ. They also have...- whitefero

Yes, they are cheap but buyer beware on how fragile and how easy it is for either end to short and die out.- whitefero

Audio Technica Vs Bose qc15
Bose is not quality built. Its a perception rather than a fact. Even if money is not an issue and you are going for cool looking headphones or what not. Bose is not the way.- whitefero

The NIKON Thread (Talk About Nikon Stuff here)
I love my d3100 though I can already feel the need for a bigger aperture lens (my 3.5-5.6 18-55mm is not particularly good for low light.. also adding that the camera can barely focus if there's little to no light. I am not yet good enough at manual focusing. So this is a hassle.- whitefero

++ FULL-SIZE HEADPHONE RECOMMENDATIONS THREAD++ CLOSED: Please post a thread in the Introductions, Help and Advice forum
I have ATH-m50s and I think I like the sound signature on them better than the 598s.. specially when it comes to bass.. it puts the 598's to shame. Maybe they are simply not tailored to my music tastes.. what do you guys think?- whitefero
