New here,

i want to improve my portable setup. So far it's:

iPod 3th Gen 4GB
Sennheiser CX400 II (IEM)

What would be a bigger improvement? New IEMs or a portable amp?

Having had those IEM's.. first of all have you your music in Apple Lossless or at least CD ripped AAC?

If you do, then please replace those IEM's which I consider to be overpriced and very dim on the mid and high frequencies.

I could recommend some ATH Ck55's, or some Sony PIIQ's :)

Some of it is ALAC. My iPod is 4gb.

There's a deal for Rocoo-p + PoPo IEMs for 142 euro. Should i buy that? Seems like a good deal to me.
