Replacing AD-700. Should I get AD-700 or Westone UM2 IEM?
Well sure it makes sense, (At least to me in my head lol.) As I pointed out, I liked the AD700s until my dog ruined them, so I am contemplating replacing them with another AD700, or, thinking of switching it up to the Westone UM2's and just trying to get peoples opinions on what may be better...- Zowzout123

Replacing AD-700. Should I get AD-700 or Westone UM2 IEM?
I liked my AD700's but lacked a little bass, but loved the clarity. The lack of bass was easily overlooked for me. Now im needing to replace them because I cant repair them after a dog bit the cord and am wondering what would be the better choice between these 2 headphones. Use: They...- Zowzout123

So I am looking to replace my AD-700's that my dog ruined and I can't seem to properly fix and I'm trying to decide if I should go with another pair of AD-700's or if there is a comparable/better IEM for sound. The budget is around $100 (Could spend more if I wanted but like to keep it under...- Zowzout123

Using a receiver for bookshelf speakers, question about headset...
I see a lot of people throwing out that Fiio portable amp as suggestions or the thing the Astro A40's come with to make a headphone sound better, my question is (And this is probably very stupid), but does using a receiver do what those other items would have done? Thanks!- Zowzout123

Hey Jake I was refering to the budget setup he listed, not the Audioengines. I would imagine the Audioengine are a significant jump as well :)- Zowzout123

Considering the Beyer DT770, but I have some questions.
I love the clarity on the AD700's, the more I hear about just how much bass the DT770's put out, i'm wondering if it may be a little too much and wash out the other stuff.- Zowzout123

Considering the Beyer DT770, but I have some questions.
First off, i'm coming from the AD700's which I like quite a bit. They are comfortable and they sound great. Of course my complaint is with the bass. Its not that I find it terrible, I just would prefer more. And im not looking for something to rattle my brain, but just more bass than the...- Zowzout123

Wanting to upgrade from AD700 (Considering Sennheiser 598s) Looking for more bass
Actually I have a desktop set of Logitech Z-2300 speakers that I plug into the volume control. Its hard to explain, and that's probably why its not as good as it could be, but I've also plugged it into the front 3.5 mm jack on the PC and didn't notice a difference. I don't have a dedicated...- Zowzout123

Wanting to upgrade from AD700 (Considering Sennheiser 598s) Looking for more bass
As the title states I'm looking to upgrade from my AD700's. My price range is $200-$250. I am considering the 598's and wondering if that would be a good way to go. I'm looking for more bass, but I'm not a bass head and not really looking for a ton of boom, honestly i liked the AD700's but...- Zowzout123

Dog bit AD 700 cord... (Can it be fixed?)
So long story short is my dog bit through the cable because my kid knocked the headphones on the ground. Anyways I cut the cable up to where the bite mark is gone but I cant splice them back together well enough. I've tried getting these things back together with no luck at all. I've tried...- Zowzout123
