my brief 5 sec impressions at the IT Fair with this was that its signature and technical level was close to my gr07... at least compared to the ba200 beside it. the ba200 was too piercing for my taste.. =/

i believe the a151 and pl50 are based on the same siren driver, so its no surprise that they share similarities in sound

i've had a pair since september. its pretty mid centric and vocals sounded great on them.   the biggest flaw i have with them are their design. the flat cables make microphonics totally unbearable. hence, when on the go i'm forced to wear it over ear, but u have to switch channels to do...

mayb meelec a151 or klipsch s4i... not much choices tbh.

u might wan to go down to stereo (ion orchard/plaza sing) to audition a few iems in that range. the tdk ba100 could be a nice candidate since its on promotion n under $150 now. actually, i do wonder how clieos thinks about them. personally i hate the design, but other den that the sound is great :)
