Without a bite block or anything to bite on, it's most likely you moved your jaw even a little bit during the process. But who knows, it could still turn out okay, hopefully.

It's been half a year since I got my Xears TDIII Blackwood V2 (discontinued) and I've had no problems with them. But I'm not saying they have good build quality because I can definitely foreseeing future problems. However, for only about ~$50 USD with the coupon code, they are quite worth it imo.

Sounds like you like bass. I'd highly recommend the MG7 Pro which you can still get for 50% off at atrio.me with the coupon (search in the MG7 thread). They have the best sub bass in a universal and no mid bass bleed into the midrange.
