foobar2000 is hardly the only option. Many players support gapless these days. Winamp, xmplay, even my lowly favorite 1by1 supports gapless. I've used potplayer before, and it is not gapless, and I saw no way of telling it to play gaplessly (if that's even a word).

Approx 15,000 songs @ 166gb Easily 80% of these are FLACS from CDs, the other 20% are MP3 files from emusic, amazon, or other sources.

Yup....same goes for probably 80% of the population that has access to things like mp3 players, speakers, headphones.....lossy audio is quite good. Guess we'll agree to disagree on this one. :) I simply think paying for a program is crazy when a large number of the music listening population...

Here's what my ColumnsUI setup is. If I want the spectrum thingies I just go open them....don't need them open all the time wasting memory in the background. :)
