Head-Fi Basshead IEM thread (lists page 1)
Glad I'm not the only one I was thinking it's probably a high-end audiophile tool that I've never seen before ok so wrap first but start at the iem end leaving 3 finger lengths. then put the plug in the cup, then put the iems on the space above the cup? I will try this thank you- kitkat12012

I bought the ASG Kickers and it definitely is better than what I used to have. Here's a stupid question though: how do you properly put them in the case (even better if you guys have pics)? The case it came with has this cup thingy in the middle. So do I put the ear pieces first, wrapping...- kitkat12012

My FA Eternas had just died, so I'm looking to pickup something new. Through reviews, I'm thinking either the MDR 7550 or the ASG Kicker. They seem to be at the same price right now. I do not have an amp right now so I'm leaning more towards the Kicker (1st page said they were good even...- kitkat12012

yep e18, that's the one I was looking into before I have lollipop, but if I remember correctly only certain roms have it enabled by default or something? I have ARHD right now and at some point I was thinking about switching to cyanogen because I think cyanogen had it...- kitkat12012

yes on the amp but not currently, maybe in the future. my current source is an HTC One M7. I've been looking for a good usb-otg android dac/amp, which I believe fiio has one. But I am not 100% sure my M7 supports audio via usb-otg. I've read somewhere that M8 does (or did I read M9). ...- kitkat12012

Hi guys, I'm looking to upgrade and I was wondering if you could provide some suggestions. I currently listen to AF Eternas, I've had them for a couple years and they have the best bass of all the IEMs I've ever had (I haven't had any that costs more than $100). I'm looking for an upgrade...- kitkat12012

Phone Flasher for Work
come on guys no ideas? I tried a different brand flasher, didn't work. I also tried one of those music activated car stickers that animates with music/sound (the equalizer looking things) but the sound sensor wasn't sensitive enough to pickup my phone ringing so this didn't work either... -
Phone Flasher for Work
I like listening to music when I'm at work. I use IEMs, they're light and they isolate the noises out. But the problem is I can't hear if my work phone is ringing. I was wondering if you guys know of any gadgets that would alert me visually when my phone is ringing. I tried this flasher...- kitkat12012

Headphones/IEMs Recommendation for Office Use
Hi Guys, I've been out of the game for a while now, so I'm not even sure what's good and what's new anymore. I've sold or gave away most of what I had before and only kept my favorite, my FA Eternas. I also have a pair of Hippo VBs that I misplaced before when I was liquidating and just...- kitkat12012

I was wondering if you guys can give me some suggestions regarding how to connect my system together. I'm planning on buying a pair or Rokit 6s, a Logitech Squeezebox Touch, and a TC Level Pilot volume control. Now I know I can connect the Rokit 6s to the volume control via xlr. But...- kitkat12012

warm sounding musical front ported active speakers
good point on "monitors" being designed as neutral and critical, because that's what they're meant to be. I'm new to this game though, any suggestions for a better set of search terms? I would guess "speakers" would be too broad and would give me a lot of junk results. as for the prodpipe vs... -
Need help with getting a BUDGET speaker setup!
Probably not audiophile grade but the one I have in my room right now is an Altec Lansing Expressionist Bass: http://www.amazon.com/Altec-Lansing-FX3022-Expressionist-Speakers/dp/B001IOZTNK/ref=sr_1_4?ie=UTF8&s=electronics&qid=1308318116&sr=8-4 It's $70 on Amazon but I remember getting it for... -

nice list on that site. I'll check them out when I get home thanks. Focals and Wharfedales come up a lot in the forums too, I'm adding them to my research list. thanks -
warm sounding musical front ported active speakers
That's interesting. I'll have to read up on this then because most of the reviews I've read suggest having some space in the back so it won't distort the sound. This is actually one of the ones I'm reading about right now. That's a cool price too for the speakers that also includes a stand... -

PC Speakers suggestions
Quote: the alesis m1 320 looks interesting and the price is great too, although it might still be a bit too large for the desk as for the gigaworks t40, I looked in Amazon and only saw the 2.0 series for these. I'm not sure if this is the same as the one you had in mind though. ...- kitkat12012
