That was an interesting decision, sometime ago I wanted to update my AKG Q701 and tried a few different headphones, one of them was the K712 and didnt like them at all, perhaps because they werent as burnt in as my Q701? The ones I like most out of all were the HD800, more than the T1s. But...

  Just a little update : P   Unfortunately I have to reuse 2N5486 and 2N5484 transistors from my old build as I dont want to spend 30+ on shipping from amb just for 8 transistors, and because they are discontinued I couldnt order from mouser nor element14.  They should still work though...
