What iems are those?

    Love it, nice and basic. Have owned the 215s for a good while now and I'm still tempted to go get the White Special Editions. 

  Any reason you don't use the little inserts between the speaker and the earpads?

  Ah see I like the stock cable too, but mine is on it's last legs. Was just wondering if you had opted for something different yourself :)

  I haven't, but I will now! Seriously go for them if you can, I really think they were the best possible upgrade for the 25s.

Gents, has anyone recently purchased a custom cable? If so any suggestions?

 I waited nearly a month for my Yaxi earpads, and it was definitely worth it. However now they sit on my JVC S500s as my HD25 cable is broken.

  To be honest, when I graduate and get a grown up job, there's a fair chance if Thomann still have them, I'll be getting the Alu too  Just at the moment with the part time work, it's very hard to justify

    Well like you I also managed to pick up some 25s, friend mentioned the cable might be a bit buggy. So I was looking for a replacement that is a tad bit nicer, probably should of put more information but it was early morning for me when I posted it
