I was wondering anyone use the mojo for the 1000se does it drive it well

I am 72 yrs old my hearing is totally different now then when I was younger I need some extra highs to compensate. I find that my he 1000se produce these with great staging EQing is very personal there is no right to sound.

Just got my upgrade from v2 to se So far so good very easy to drive I have the jot and mojo with the v2 the jot made a big difference in sound on the se the mojo seems to sound better alone As a dac and amp maybe selling a jot with dac

I would keep mojo and spend 500 on an amp I don’t know if anything would be an upgrade over Jotunheim

Thanks for your answer I use the mojo as a dac with the Jotunheim as just an amp it sounds great but feel there has to be better in that price range Total price 1000 any suggestions that is dac And amp

I use the mojo as dac and the jot as amp sounds great but have nothing to compare to it’s been my go to since I got hek

I was not thrilled by the jot dac I would definitely buy the jot minus dac I use the mojo as my dac much better than internal dac

I have had the hexv2 and now the hekv2 othe great phones but the hek is much more detailed and has a much deeper sound stage I use the mojo as a pass through dac and the jot is my amp Any suggestions on a better but not killer expensive pair

I was a tube roller for a while. I enjoyed it but got carried away can get expensive I have the he1000 which I feel is better with solid state so use the jot I would buy a tube amp again but just purchase one set of upgrade tubes

I do not think the mojo is expensive in today’s market I use the HE 1000 so need something a little smoother than the jot dac
