DT 880 Pro 250 Ohm vs DT 880 Premium 600 Ohm

Ah, which brings me to the next question. Amping. I have no experience with amps. I'm currently using an AKG K240 Sextett plugged directly into a Focusrite Scarlett audio interface. It's loud enough for me, but I feel that the bass is a little weak. Not sure if having an amp would make any...

DT 880 Pro 250 Ohm vs DT 880 Premium 600 Ohm

Just drop a message to the Beyerdynamic local page, and they replied really swiftly! They assured me that the Pro 600 ohm do exist. I'm from Asia btw.

DT 880 Pro 250 Ohm vs DT 880 Premium 600 Ohm

Alright, the guy provided me picture of the jack with 600 ohm written on it. And sinnottj, that link you gave was the only one ive seen mentioning a 600 ohm pro. Odd. Will have to do some more digging. Thanks!

DT 880 Pro 250 Ohm vs DT 880 Premium 600 Ohm

It is not stock photo. The unit is definitely a Pro instead of Premium. It's pictured together with its box, which has a Beyerdynamic sticker on it with barcode and labelled DT 880 PRO / 600 ohm Studio headphone with cable. Are you aware if there's a Pro version of 600 ohm? Thanks :)

DT 880 Pro 250 Ohm vs DT 880 Premium 600 Ohm

Hi guys, I have a quick question. Does all 600 ohm version of DT880 have name plates at the sides? I saw a listing for a DT880, the box stating  "DT880 Pro / 600 ohm" but the headphone itself looks like a 250 ohm (without name plates). Is this suspicious?

Need help identifying AKG Sextett model

Hey, thanks for the detailed reply. The drivers look pale and matte to me. I don't know how to open it up to find out for sure, haha. I don't have the tools to measure frequency response

Need help identifying AKG Sextett model

Hello Head-Fi'ers. Just obtained an AKG Sextett off Ebay but the seller did not state which era of production it's from.           The colour of the 6 circular radiators suggest it's LP. Do LPs come with the headband with holes though? Thanks

any idea if this is fixable without risk of ruining other parts? or without costing more than half the price of the headphones?

Headphones loses frequency and becomes reverby

Thanks for the replies. Sent it to a shop and i was told it is most likely grounding issue. However, i have tried swapping cable before sending it and the problem is not the cable. Might be the pins or something else. This sucks.

Headphones loses frequency and becomes reverby

Also, I've tested on various appliances. All the same. So it's definitely a problem with the headphones.

Headphones loses frequency and becomes reverby

Hello people.   Today, my AKG k240 Studio went all #%$%ed up. Audio became thin with no bass whatsover. A test on a TV series gave a weirder result, where music is audible but speeches are not. Audio also has weird reverb-y / blurry quality.   What could possibly be the problem? Cables...
