How long usually a good pair of IEM going to last???
IMO it's the cable that is the issue. All of mine have failed because of the cable, the longest lasting being my E2c's, they held out for about a year before the cable split around the ear. My other shures gave up a couple of months ago and lasted about 6 months, and my UE's lasted about 6...- jonnoford

Westone 2 True-Fit IEM Appreciation & Impressions Thread...
It's obviously your money and your decision. However i would think long and hard about it, maybe even try and get in touch with Westone about the seller, see if he's registered. Are they second hand or new? I got in touch with iheadphones.co.uk asking them if they could beat a price on amazon...- jonnoford

Audio Technica ATH-CK10
I was hoping the price would be reflected over here. Sorry how i came over there, just read it back to myself. How would you compare these to the Etys er4s or RE0's? I hear the RE0's (minus the dual driver) are quite similar.- jonnoford

Can anybody recommend a portable amp? I've never owned one or used one so a little guidence would be a massive help. Also would an amp help music not ripped to flac or 320?- jonnoford

Shure v Sennheiser v Ultimate Ears v Westone v Klipsch
Am i going to have re-rip all my music to 320 or flac if i buy the triple.fi 10's? I'd rather not for no other reason other than my disc drive on my laptop for some reason doesn't want to work anymore.- jonnoford

Shure v Sennheiser v Ultimate Ears v Westone v Klipsch
I started a thread regarding which in ears would be best for bass driven music. I was leaning toward the IE8's until a few people complained that the bass was too deep and even that they couldn't be listened to for long periods. So in a final plea i have between £150-£200 to spend and was...- jonnoford

Faulty UE super.fi 5 pros
I bought the super.fi 5 pro's a over 18 months ago. The sound disappeared in from the right monitor. I bought a replacement cable and the sound once again disappeared this time after a day or two. I've put the left cable on the right monitor and it works fine whilst the right cable doesn't work...- jonnoford

I've just read a thread by a guy who seems to be in love with his Audio Technica ATH-CK10's. Can i compare these with the IE8's which seem to be the ones i'm heading for? (them or the westone 3's which i might buy anyway just because.)- jonnoford

Didn't even consider JVC. Can't find a price for them anywhere or where to buy them from. They aren't released yet right? The Turbine Pro just seem too expensive. I can get a pair of Westone 3's for 30-40 quid more if i want to spend that much.- jonnoford
