How does these sound with Trance music compared to the IE8, CK10 and TF10? Is someone able to compare them? It seems bass-wise Atrio is the best for this genre, but how about soundstaging and instrument placement/seperation for example?

Do you have the ST or STX? If you compare them with the X-Fi Titanium HD, which one sounds the most harsh and which one has the deepest bass? Is the Titanium HD better for Trance music (deep bass, smooth mids, clear highs). I found the Xonar STX to loud, harsh and spikey to listen too for long...

I'm also curious about this. For example, does the onboard Realtek ALC889 optical out has more jitter then the X-Fi Titanium Optical out (flatter lifeless sound that lacks definition)? Also, does the ripple of the computer PSU has any effect on the jitter of the spdif-out?

The EQ is Windows Media Player 11/12 is very good. I'l prefer it above every other EQ including the ones from the Xonar and X-Fi. Problem is that this EQ starts to clip or constantly adjust the volume if you boost the frequencies too much. The only thing that helps is reducing the input volume...
