Question about the AKG K271
Ive paired up my 271 with one of Sony's DAP(S738), they've got the "clear bass" feature which helps with the bass-light 271 and the compromise (to me) is very minimal- wern_d

SONY's Dynamic Normalizer = Bad Idea

Need a closed headphone reccomendation for a noisy work environment
As others have said, the AKG 271 do somewhat isolate, but certainly not on the same level as most IEMs (esp. Shures).- wern_d

What's the difference between the AKG K271 MkII's and the K272's?
since they "auto-adjust" i doubt that you can make it not choke.. could be wrong though- wern_d
