Can you tell me whether this shopping website is believable.
99.9% certain any branded stuff in there is going to be knock off goods. Prices are way way too low. Beats for ~ $60?!? The certs seem to be legit, but that doesn't mean the goods are.- yhzh

Does the player matter???
Yes, but not a night vs. day difference. The variance among modern DAP's, as far as their DAC and amplifier circuits goes, is limited by the form factor and power requirements. Any well designed player should sound good with easy loads for most intents and purposes. The Clip+...- yhzh

is mp3 320kbps good enough for sennheiser hd 598?
Indistinguishable is an adjective meaning that something cannot be identified as different from whatever you are comparing it to. You can burn 320KB mp3s and flacs and test out the difference yourself, if you want to hear the difference. Even better would be to use some ABX type...- yhzh

Imbalance Issues. HD650
This is a pretty clear defect, unless maybe one of your ears has sustained significantly more hearing loss than the other. Just return them to the seller if you can. If it's out of return period, then contact sennheiser. They are practically new still, and should be covered by the...- yhzh

Sennheiser HD215 - crackling sound.
Ahh sorry I misread the sentence. Maybe they got dropped, or the driver suffered electrical damage. What do you have them plugged into? Some amps have borderline levels of protection from electrical problems. Maybe the amp was set to output too much power for the drivers to handle. Or...- yhzh

HELP!!!!! NEED NEW HEADPHONES
This is just my experience, but I feel cloth/velor pads are better in terms of heat buildup and air flow than one's made of polyurethane, pvc, or some other kind of plastic. Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but genuine leather in headphones is out of that price range. Then again, the...- yhzh

Sennheiser HD215 - crackling sound.
I'd say the headphones are fine and it's just the cables. It just means your cable is losing integrity somewhere along the line(possibly at multile points). Where exactly are you bending the cable to fix the sound? Close to the jack or any place where it is frequently bent are usually...- yhzh

Need advice for gamer/music lover
AD700 is notoriously lean on bass, which doesn't bode well for its future in DnB. Maybe something in the beyer dt series would be better. The problem is that bass that you can feel is also really bad for competitive gaming, where detail and positioning matter more than immersion and...- yhzh

Help , Best headphones for rock/metal 150/200$ range
You can get the sennheiser hd25-1 ii new off ebay for 160-170 pretty easily from authorized dealers. I've only heard the m50 and hd25 that my friend's own for ~15 minutes each, and I can't remember either being heads over tails better than the other. Their overall levels of performance and...- yhzh

Razor Dog Deals Ebay
SennheiserUSA.com says they are an authorized retailer too, so that lends some credibility to them. That makes them pretty mainstream, you shouldn't have any more problems than you would at any other average online retailer. Edit: Any particular deal or product going on with them?- yhzh

Help , Best headphones for rock/metal 150/200$ range
DOH, didn't read the OP closely enough. The grado phones have virtually no sound isolation from the environment and leak a large amount of sound. This is a pretty big factor if you have background noise of any significant level. The Beyerdynamics are a little big for on the go usage...- yhzh

HFI-580 amped vs Pro900 unamped.
Pro 900s sound great without a dedicated amp and gain further refinements from more juice. They may be a little quiet on an internal sound card especially if you use replay gain. The Hfi series have more sensitivity and less impedance than the Pro series, and they require amping even less.- yhzh

Future headphone suggestions? HELP!
If you are looking mostly for positional audio, the ad700 are far and away the best in their price range. The amount of space, decent spacial precision, and light/tight bass is perfect for tracking footsteps, hearing reloads, player vocalisations, and the like. At least in BC2, which I...- yhzh

Sennheiser HD650 & Massdrop HD6XX Impressions Thread
Just ordered a set from uniquesquared.com (authorized dealer) for 300.10 shipped. I used a inc500YAY! 10% off coupon a long with a 5$ off anything for registering on their site off their 339.00 price, which is already lower than amazon's ~350 price. This is probably one of the best New...- yhzh

UE Super fi5 pro is equivalent to what closed headphones?
Why exactly do you not like the super.fi 5 pros for portable use? I'm assuming they sound similar to the TF10s that I lost. I've been using my Ultrasone pro 900s (with a short 3.5mm jack cable) for portable use and really miss the extra portability of the IEMS. It's annoying to carry around...- yhzh
