IE900 is not the best when it comes to comfort. Stock eartips are too thin, hard to get proper seal with them. Time is needed to get used to it. Other eartips sound worser to me on IE 900. So only stock tips are recommended.

My right earphone died yesterday... will see how warranty will cover that case. When i shake my head a little bit i hear a noise that something is moving inside the earphone. Previously i've seen comments that they can broke.... anyone knows how often IE900 breaks?

why don't u use mbp 14" with IE900 instead? Sound fantastic to me... :)

I've found out how to make it easier to use stock tips. When they're cold it's harder to get proper seal. Just breathe on them or use fingers heat to make them warmer before putting earphones on.

Not a problem when using them only stationary :) I've noticed that you need to try to put them several times before they cling. Also they have to be more hotter. They don't fit well when cold. I'm lucky that can use default tips... i've had big concerns about that during first hours of use.

I use my pair only stationary and when not using putting them in the case... I've learned a lesson after using IE 800 on a streets during cold winter. Upper part of wires were almost not flexible ))

I was able to get used to stock tips. As previously discussed those tips need time to get used to them and understand how to put on IE900. This sound has so much details! Sometimes i think there are too much of them :) It's like a candy which is way to tasty.

You're 100% correct. They sound much better with stock tips. I've noticed that stock tips have another 'sound pass'... Here is stock tips near the Sony and Comply tips.

Many thanks :))) This trick worked :))))) Put on default M tips and feel very comfy and NIRVANA. Foam tips aren't convenient at all... P.S. i gave my previous IE800s to my wife as a present. She is lucky :)

Help :) I’ve just purchased IE900. I really like them and don’t want to listen IE800s after them. However there is a problem with fit. Usually I always use Medium stock tips. With IE900 I have good isolation only with Large foam tip. Please recommend alternative tips which may help me...
