Any word on the EVO's coming out in custom form? Deciding to make the jump from universals to customs after a long head-fi break.... The LX is one of my favorite IEM's, but the EVO sounds intriguing.

It's more likely oxidization from your ears...

Deoxit is what you need, once the connectors start oxidizing it affects the sound. You should be cleaning all your connectors regularly with Deoxit! :beerchug:

That's a good choice. I have a set of LX's to compliment my Layla's. Both amazing IEM's for totally different reason's. I'd go crazy and get some signature designs or transparent smoke, but that's just me.

Welp, just got the Layla II in, and the stock cable is poo poo. I'm gonna upgrade to a Black Dragon while I wait for the 2pin to 4pin adapters to come in for the 1960's. And I also picked up the Zeus... Sorry Phantom but the Layla is taking your spot in the holy trinity of EE.

I pulled the trigger on the Zeus's as well :) Time to put the 1960's on the Zeus, and for now a Black Dragon on the Layla's :beerchug:

I've fulfilled my goal of owning a JH monitor, but now it's time to try some other goodies :)
