    Who loves their current setup?

Hey all! (: Great thread (thanks for creating!) and I do! Sennheiser recently sent me an IEM upgrade from my IE800s to the new IE900, and IMO they're pretty fricking awesome! In relation to my SDR modded HD 800 and Focal Clear, the IE 900 provide HD 800 like clarity with the extra bass that...

    Sennheiser HD 600 Impressions Thread

I haven't heard the SR80e, though I have heard the SR60 and I think the SR80. The Grado sound is generally quite different from and noticeably more upfront than the house sound of the Sennheiser HD series and - to make a Sennheiser comparison - can sometimes be likened to the relatively more...

Meet the Sennheiser HD 660 S

Thanks for saying. I obviously recommend the HD 660 S and still say, trust your own ears. Best. xWx (:

Meet the Sennheiser HD 660 S

Just a quick update to say that after some settling time I'm so enjoying the HD 660 S more than any other headphone in the HD series with the exception of the HD 25 Amperior which I use when out and about and the IE 800 which I use for in-ear monitoring purposes when working as a pro musician...

Meet the Sennheiser HD 660 S

Just a brief post to say that after some more hours of burn-in, I'm continually appreciating the HD 660 S in a beautiful way! Relative to the rest of the HD series I have, the HD 660 S so ticks the box of increased bass that I felt was lacking with the HD 600 and HD 800 - two of my all-time...

Sennheiser HD660S... Finally a successor for the HD650?

I'm loving the HD 660 S. With headphones, to my ears so many of the best available flagship models have many major strengths but also some major sonic presentation flaws, the perception of which can contaminate the experience of enjoying hearing music, and whilst not deemed as a flagship...

Meet the Sennheiser HD 660 S

My HD 660 S has more clamping pressure than my HD 600 which I bought used a few years ago. I think the clamping pressure of the HD series eases off over time. To me it's really not much of an issue, as when you're focused on the fun of the music that's all that exists. :)

Meet the Sennheiser HD 660 S

I bought an HD 660 S a few days ago and so far am really enjoying it. It's still burning in and sounding better and better every day, moment-by-moment. :) Hearing the Audio Sanctuary (UK) display model HD 600 S, which has quite a few hours of burn-in time already, I contrasted it with the...

Sennheiser IE 800 as in-ear monitor for live musical performance

Hi all. Working as a professional drummer, I've been using the Sennheiser IE 800 as my live IEMs for a few months and really enjoying it. I've had to experiment with finding the tips that provide the best seal, and using one of the larger sizes it's working great. My in-ear mixes are the best...

    The (new) HD800 Impressions Thread

Thanks for the reply. I'll check these out. Wow, so you recommend the budget-priced Modi over the HDVD 800's inbuilt DAC?

    The (new) HD800 Impressions Thread

Though there are moments when I wonder how I could improve my main headphone rig, which is currently HD800/HDVD800, and when I let go of analysis about that and just listen with what I have, I'm super happy with it. The above rig reveals all of the details I could want to hear and presents every...

What Are You Listening To Right Now?

Just taking a break between CD1 and CD2 of this release to share this. Great soulful version of "Sy Borg" and other FZ faves on this Bob Ludwig-mastered disc! Peace. xWx

    Sennheiser IE800 IEM's

Hey. I don't know if you have resolved this, but my first IE 800 developed a fault in the right earpiece. I returned it the the shop I bought it from and they sent it back to Sennheiser and I was supplied with a replacement new IE 800. If you contact Sennheiser I'm sure they can help out as...

What Are You Listening To Right Now?

I just finished listened to the Zappa Records Bob Ludwig remaster of Frank Zappa's Sheik Yerbouti. Having recently bought his remasters of "Hot Rats" and "Joe's Garage" and being very pleased with the improvements over the Rykodisc versions I have ("Hot Rats" especially), "Sheik Yerbouti" is...
