I just finished listened to the Zappa Records Bob Ludwig remaster of Frank Zappa's Sheik Yerbouti. Having recently bought his remasters of "Hot Rats" and "Joe's Garage" and being very pleased with the improvements over the Rykodisc versions I have ("Hot Rats" especially), "Sheik Yerbouti" is right up there too. This really is such an improvement over the Rykodisc version in every way. Going back to my other Rykodisc versions of the FZ catalogue, it's just making sense to upgrade - if not some of them - the whole lot to the newly remastered editions. A must for Zappateers and fans of art rock with a sense of humour!
"Breaking in" my new Ety ER4SRs with Dubba Johnny's VIP Dubstep Tutorial, through the Mapletree. Because, what work?
Thank you, prick at gym who stole my faithful ER-4S. Also, thank you Mom & Dad for the totally awesome birthday gift, even though you have no idea why anyone would want to spend that much on headphones!
