For anyone curious: if you're spending money on a cable, there is a three band EQ module available to tune the treble and mids, as well as the bass. I had one made and it behaves as expected, though the cable was too "springy" and didn't stay looped over my ear. Hopefully at some point JH Audio...

Yeah, I wish more companies used the four pin connectors JH Audio uses... Tunable bass is nice. Technically they could also do three way tuning or have an active crossover and DSP correct for each circuit/set of frequencies if everyone started using that.

It's expensive... But you'd be looking at a nearfield setup of $7,000 plus some sound treatment to approach flagship IEM performance.
