You don't need an amp for the vsonic gr07. Your ipod will drive them fine.

i think the vsonic gr07 mk2 are truly great for metal. most of my music is rock and metal and i haven't heard yet better iem for this kind of music. they don't need amp. one powerful pmp as the cowon j3 or the hisound rocco p will do the job.
