LG G5, Possible DAC or Camera modules. Audiophiles enjoy ?

I'm not sure what you mean when you say "the HIFI module cripples when it is not ran on OTG mode". OTG mode only applies to devices which can act as a host and/or a client depending on what is connected to it which the HIFI module isn't.The HIFI module is always a slave(client) like say a...

LG G5, Possible DAC or Camera modules. Audiophiles enjoy ?

Nope it won't degrade the sq....in fact it sounds much better as a standalone dac through a headamp(no physical vol on the b&o dac).Do note though you need the driver for windows which can be found in lg korean site(I've forgotten the link though) and the jack needs to be connected for the dac...

MrSpeakers Alpha Dog Revealed! - The World's First Production 3D-Printed Headphones

Found meself a good value DAC with HP out for portable use(at least while resting and a stack that can still fit my hands) with the Alpha:). It can drive the AD no problem and at quite low volume adjustment(software). This thing sounds great for $66(up there in terms of  Price/Perf. Ratio just...

Pictures of Your *Budget-Fi* Portable Rig (< $200)

Routing it would be a pain in the you know what and having to use a thinner cable was just not enticing for me. Plus using the split would be more durable if you ever snag the cables(which happens to me often) as it's better at distributing the pulling force on both cable/cups rather than the...

    Project Ember Review

I second that....get the 12AU7 tube.....set jumpers to low gain and 120R output resistance and it should be good for your AD2K.....the 5751 tube is a high mu tube in other word a high gain tube (good for planars).
