Has anyone been able to get the bifrost with an ipad mini or ipad 4.  I tried using the cck and it crashes the ipad.  Does anyone know of a workaround?

So implementing a power hub in the chain allows you to get audio through the dac from your ipad 4?

I have an iPad 4 which has the same lightning plug as the mini. When trying to go iPad 4 > lightning cck > USB cable > Schiit Bifrost it freezes up my iPad and requires a hard boot. I have been told by Schiit that iPad 3 > 30-pin cck > USB cable > Schiit Bifrost works. If i went ipad 4...

I have the bifrost with the Valhalla and 702 so very similar stack.  I have been trying to use it with my ipad.   When I do it freezes the ipad and then requires a hard boot to turn it back on.    Any help would be greatly appreciated.
