+250 for a paintjob is a bit silly... even more so when you think that the $350 Amperior is essentially just a better looking, easier to drive $200 HD-25-II

Just buy a normal pair of hd 25's and put a sticker on the outside, like this:

Job done!

Maybe because drawing a dragon would be much harder. The Asian dragon is quite different from the European counterpart and much more intricately portrayed at that, but a snake looks pretty much the same everywhere.

It's a $600 headphone, Sennheiser damn well should be putting a lot of effort into it. If that means a more difficult drawing then so be it.

I also don't see why they did the Amperior, why not the HD600 or even the HD800? The HD-25 isn't exactly worth more than an HD650 >_____>

If it was an american design, it would have a yellow M on it, some rifle pictures and an oversized XXL plastic cheap design. Probably some extra chrome added to it as well, since americans have no taste and no design skills (except copying everything from Europe).

Looks beautiful!!! Love that there's only 88 available. 88 is considered lucky in Chinese culture. I wonder what they''ll do next year. I''ll want to be in China next year to try to pick a pair up. Ideally I'd like to pick up my year up, the year of the tiger, but I'd have to wait 10 years!!! Who knows what model they'll slap it on.

collectible headphones fall into the same category as celebrity endorsed cans; not worth the extra cash unless they look better than the other headphones. so it really comes down to a desire to own such a can. frankly these aint worth the added cost...
