One, thing I can say after owned these for ~3 weeks is that, it needs about 100+ hours of burn in. They sound much better. Silver cables coming in a week so excited to try those out. 

Can those of you who have used the tape mod put up pictures, I would like to see how much of it you guys have covered and how it looks. 

I find that the tape mod takes away to much of the bass and the soundstage taking away what makes the IE80 the IE80.

The ONLY tips that work are the double biflange which isolate pretty well but they are uncomfortable. 

Anyone here use the carrying case? I try wrapping my wires but then the case doesnt seem to close.
