Hey, just to update I went ahead and actually got some Edition 8's (little less than 700 in mint!) for their portability... I've had them for a few days and originally they sounded a little off, highs were ever so slightly harsh.... It wasn't "smooth" at all...   After breaking them in for...

hmmm how big are the w1000x's?   Is there any easy way to transport them safely?

So I went and tried the Momentums, but they don't seem as detailed as I hoped... It was also loud, so that might have changed things...

Kind of random, but I've just come across a good deal for some Ultrasone Pro 900's for about $300... I know they're amazing for hip-hop, but will they be good/decent for classical? I might just go for them for the price...

I'll go try it out (Theres a local store here that has them) but I fear that the upgrade from my current headphones wouldn't be significant enough for me to justify the price...   I'll get back with my reaction tonight
