[REVIEW] Logitech UE9000 - Ultimate Ears HEADPHONES Released! The UE4000, UE6000 and the UE9000 - Impressions Thread
Nice write up on the 9000. My reference monitors are TrippleFi 10 so that's where I'm coming from when I started listening to these. Thing that bothers me the most about them, but not enough to be a complete dealbreaker, it is on the low-end side. In passive wired mode with your iPhone turned up...- macfly4

[REVIEW] Logitech UE9000 - Ultimate Ears HEADPHONES Released! The UE4000, UE6000 and the UE9000 - Impressions Thread
I would have to agree. Nowhere near reference quality and although somewhat tolerable the bass can be thumpy. Best solution so far is to use my iphone eq on bass reducer or to use a line out and amp which cleans up the bass a little- macfly4

[REVIEW] Logitech UE9000 - Ultimate Ears HEADPHONES Released! The UE4000, UE6000 and the UE9000 - Impressions Thread
Are you finding that lower to mid bass range mildly muddy? I find on these that I wouldnt mind the enhanced bass if it were just cleaner and tighter. Still buggin me a little but not redy to ditch them yet- macfly4

[REVIEW] Logitech UE9000 - Ultimate Ears HEADPHONES Released! The UE4000, UE6000 and the UE9000 - Impressions Thread
Another bit of info.... I think i have found the perfect combination. Plugged the 9000's into mu CMoy amp with a FIIO line out in passive mode and they are perfect! Mids and highs really shine and the bass sounds great. Just a tad sloppy in a small range between low and mid bass but completely...- macfly4

you know what... on listening again, wired passive is not nearly as boosted. I would agree that it falls more into the definitely warm category. you know the bass is there but it is not as tight as the Triple Fi 10 in my opinion. not bad, just not AS tight. I think i can warm up to these and...- macfly4

[REVIEW] Logitech UE9000 - Ultimate Ears HEADPHONES Released! The UE4000, UE6000 and the UE9000 - Impressions Thread
Yes, have listened to the 9000 in wired passive. the bass is still pretty overwhelming. I do like the bluetooth as it comes in handy on the subway...not snagging people's bags and such in morning rush hour. I listened to them again this morning on my subway ride in. The bass being so strong is...- macfly4

[REVIEW] Logitech UE9000 - Ultimate Ears HEADPHONES Released! The UE4000, UE6000 and the UE9000 - Impressions Thread
Hey all.I have been using UE's Triple Fi 10 for over a year and have come to love the sound. Key has been the bass which for me is very present and defined but neutral, without that boomy muddy sound. I picked up a pair of the UE 9000's today and have to say i am a bit surprised. I thought the...- macfly4

Hey all , newbie here just getting into taking my sound to a different level. as far as this iPhone 4 goes.... have to say, i bought a CMoyBB and have been using it with my iP4. Sitting here in the Starbucks at Union Sq , NYC people must wonder if I'm crazy or not pulling my headphones...- macfly4
