HD 598?
The very benefit of HD598 is that it's very easy to drive, You don't need an amp for HD598. Also, I would recommend you to purchase within the range of $170-200 as I've been keeping an eye on it for long time.- Hzwwwc2

What input method should I choose between laptop and DAC?
Quote: Thank you very much. You said it right, every time when someone tells me it really makes a big difference if I do this or that tweak, I'm always wondering if it's really that big different for general people, or noticeable for serious audiphiles- Hzwwwc2

What input method should I choose between laptop and DAC?
Thank you guys for the responding. Some of it I can't understand, but from what I sum up, use USB dac isn't that bad. So as a noob I think I'll be happy with nfb 10se using the usb input.- Hzwwwc2

What input method should I choose between laptop and DAC?
I have a lcd2 rev1, I plan to use NFB10SE, as dac/amp. But a headfier told me that nfb products are very sensitive towards digital input. Here I quote 'All Audio-GD dacs that I auditioned or owned (NFB-7, NFB-1, NFB-10ES and DAC-19 DSP) were extremely sensitive to digital source quality...- Hzwwwc2

555is good, but 598 is great! The improvement is very big. They are both extremely light and comfortable, and they don't require amp.- Hzwwwc2
