I would go for lcd 3 since i can wear only one pair of headphones. yeah i like a higher utilization rate...

The very benefit of HD598 is that it's very easy to drive, You don't need an amp for HD598. Also, I would recommend you to purchase within the range of  $170-200 as I've been keeping an eye on it for long time. 

Could you confirm one thing? I've seen many posts saying that IOS device so far hasn't support apt-x. posts like "http://forums.macrumors.com/showthread.php?t=1442959" Do you hear a difference in the sound when using OS and IOS?   Right now I'm use iphone with px360bt, and my desktop...

Thank you guys for the responding. Some of it I can't understand, but from what I sum up, use USB dac isn't that bad. So as a noob I think I'll be happy with nfb 10se using the usb input.

suggest price for hd555 is below 100 for brand new. below 200 for 598 brand new.

555is good, but 598 is great! The improvement is very big. They are both extremely light and comfortable, and they don't require amp.

You don't need e9, 598 is very easy to drive.
