I have read somewhere here that someone used Andes as a guitar amp with headphones, similar to Fiio G01, but I have no idea how could I do that. Anyone?

Hi, i don't know where else to put my question. I am using foobar2k with WASAPI enabled, ALAC's and I am using Fiio e07k and Grado sr325is. I also use Akg k450. Yesterday I noticed kind of rattling,cracking sound coming when playing deep bass songs. First I have feared it was grattle, but...

I went straight to 325is after much reading. They are getting better every day and I did not regret. They are a bit heavy to handle beacuse of the metal chambers and more of 8 conductor cable so I use them when I have dedicated listening time... I just dont see myself wanting to go down in line...

From what I've read it's definitely worth the price, but will you be able to hear the difference is all up to your ears I think...

I am using iPhone 4S if that matters, old connector. Are they also affected?

What kind of problems, is it still usable?

I'm using Andes with Grado sr325is and I am wondering is it possible to equialise headphones with suitable program on pc while Andes is used as DAC? I found a guide on how to do that here on head fi, and I use foobar2k with WASAPI.

I just received my first ever amp/DAC, Fiio Andes and I am just amazed how the sound got better, no harsh highs, bass part got more body, just the thing I wanted to have completely. Wonder what some expensive amp would do to them..
