Best all-round IEM for around $100; for musical listening
I listen to a large variety of music. Primarily progressive and alternative rock (Floyd and Radiohead) but also Indie Rock, New-Wave Techno, and a lot of Hip-Hop. Sound wise: Looking for fun-sounding, forward V-shaped sound; but don't want some bass dominating IEM, an analytical sound would...- halehaler

Sony MDR1RBT vs Philips Fidelio M1BTBL/00 vs Sony MDR10RBT Wireless Headphones Comparison?
Mods are welcome to delete/lock my other thread. I feel I have streamlined my question now and can provide a clearer thread title, in which I'd love some direct comparisons. Prices I can get them for: >MDR1RBT: £220/$355~ I feel these are proportionately overpriced? >M1BTBL/00: £155/$250...- halehaler

(Poll) Best Wireless Headphones for around $300? (Senn. RS180 vs. Soundmagic WP10 vs. Sony MDR1RBT vs. Others)
It's going to be a pretty much even split between at home, walking around, school library (it's not particularly quiet, hence why open headphones will be fine) and I will be weightlifting in the gym with them about 6 hours a week. Have broken 3 headphones and IEMs, all via: cable caught in bike...- halehaler

(Poll) Best Wireless Headphones for around $300? (Senn. RS180 vs. Soundmagic WP10 vs. Sony MDR1RBT vs. Others)
I listen to almost exclusively hip-hop, but it certainly isn't bass dominated and has lots of orchestral highs places throughout. So I guess I'm looking for a balanced sound. I am unsure as to whether I want Closed or Open headphones. Closed would be a slight advantage; however, aren't...- halehaler

IEMs and Headphones with Detatachable Cables: please recommend between $50-$200
This for example: http://www.amazon.co.uk/Fisual-S-Flex-Mini-3-5mm-Cable/dp/B00B3VNLTC/ref=sr_1_8?s=electronics&ie=UTF8&qid=1406572724&sr=1-8&keywords=replacement+headphone+cable- halehaler

IEMs and Headphones with Detatachable Cables: please recommend between $50-$200
Ah OK. I thought you had to buy specific cables for every manufacturer. So in most cases a basic $10 male to male 3.5mm auidio jack will work. Is there a noticeable difference between a $15 and $40 cable?- halehaler

IEMs and Headphones with Detatachable Cables: please recommend between $50-$200
OK, that makes sense thanks. I presume the main benefit of a detachable cable is that, when broken, a new one can be purchased without requiring the full replacement of the earphones, thus also decreasing the chance of the headphone breaking as if there's pressure/tugging on the wire, it...- halehaler

IEMs and Headphones with Detatachable Cables: please recommend between $50-$200
They're not on sale in the UK, but I can get some eBay imports. Are these the right things, and how much are they meant to cost proportionately? The IM50s are $82 vs $130 for the IM70s (assuming a lower offer is accepted)...- halehaler

IEMs and Headphones with Detatachable Cables: please recommend between $50-$200
Having realized that after breaking 5 headphones and IEMs I've realized that 4 of these have been me either snapping the cable, or breaking the jack on the end of the cable. Conclusion: I need a decent pair of headphones and IEMs with detatchable cables so I can easily buy new cables. > I...- halehaler

Is it worth buying accidental damage protection/warranty on headphones and earphones?
I've broken my last 6 pairs, usually while weightlifting at the gym or while cycling. I've broken 2 pairs of headphones, including my Creative Aurvana Lives, while at the bar (barbell hit audio jack= broken jack). Yesterday I was cycling to my friends with my Soundmagic e10s, I dismounted...- halehaler

Bass-heavy rivals to the Soundmagic e10 IEMs for a similar price? (Brainwavz M2?)
I had some CALs, but I was foolish and sadly broke them. I heard some soundmagic e10s and surprisingly really liked the sound. Before I purchase them, are there any other similar sounding rivals, either cheaper, or better for a similar price? THanks.- halehaler
