= HiFiMAN HE-560 Impressions & Discussion Thread =
Hi I have both the T-1 and the He560. They are 2 completely different sound signatures. The T-1 are very accurate with the music coming through very clean. When I use them I find myself listening for a particular instrument rather than enjoying the music. That's OK at times. Over a period of...- gary ocock

= HiFiMAN HE-560 Impressions & Discussion Thread =
Today I received the HiFiman HE-560 headphones. I've been listening for the past hr or so and they sound great. I'm using the WOO Fireflies along with the Wa7 tube power supply. I'm a Grado fan and these sound really good. Clear and full sound with just enough bass as well as a clear defined...- gary ocock

HiFiman 400 vs 500 ?????
Help! I have several brands of cans, HE-400, Audeze LCD2, Grado 325i, Beyerdynamic DT990 and HD 600. On any given day they all sound nice. I'm using a Little Dot MKIII with 6 sets of tubes. I still want to upgrade the cans. Is the HE-500 worth the extra $$$ over the 400? I could live with out...- gary ocock

I've been busy. It was a tube for sure as I purchased some tubes (ebay) and one pair Hytron JHY-6AK5 are working great. Gary- gary ocock

Little Dot MKIII hums
I think I narrowed it down to a audio tube. I discovered the hum was coming from one side (earphone). I then reversed the tube and the hum moved to the other ear. I reversed it again and it moved back to the other side. Looks like a bad tube.- gary ocock

Can I improve my sound on my PC???
Guys Nothing wrong with what I'm listening too as it is. I just thought that now that I'm a Hi-Fidelity guy , I want to listen to my music in the highest quality I can afford. If there is a way to improve the music I burned to my computer I'd like to give it try; see if the results are...- gary ocock

I've copied all my CD's to my computer. I've downloaded Foobar to listen to the CD's copied. I have a external DAC attached to my computer. The copied rate of the CD's is 44,100 Hz. Is there some way I can improve the sound of the CD's using the DAC or the PC or both. I just purchased the...- gary ocock

Do I need a DAC
Billy.... It was you peeking in my window, YES, there was some tequila involved; Patron Silver to be exact. On Sunday just prior to the SuperBowl I switched to Makers Mark and the Phones sounded the same. I'm golden now; later this week I'll try some Belvedere Vodka. If it works I've got all...- gary ocock
