Haven't taken the pads of mine which arrived two days ago, but then haven't smelt anything from them either..   Still getting used to their different signature vis a vis my HD800 but so far no complaints.

Assume people have seen the new video on the wave which now seems to have been updated to USB C.   Personally if this is the case, I think that's an excellent bit of future proofing, however just what are we now supposed to do with our existing micro cables that have been shipped to us?

So have people seen the new IEM-X update?   Due for distribution in Jan. Apparently have a revised 6µm Ti diaphragm.   Let's hope they have used a different set of 'qualifying' ears this time...

I go with the year recorded as when you happen to then get two (or more) versions of the same piece, it makes it easier to sort, for my system at least.   I know you can otherwise delve into which conductor the orchestra is using at the time, but I have versions of the same piece by the same...

Just a thought about the issues with proper gear auditioning and general noise levels at these events, as this is a 'canjam' and not a small meet, might it be possible to have a few Portable Isolation Booths for some stands?   They don't need to be the large studio versions, as you can get...
