Headphones for metal music - ultimate solution
So i managed to borrow AKG k712 pro from a friend to test it out. Dont recommend it for metal, Music was just dull and the lack of bass did hurt it a lot, wasn't a fan at all. There was just alot missing.. Now i’m thinking that the brightness i was compaining about with the Beyerdynamic is what...- eaglerock

Wow such an interesting discussion. Steve's Guttenberg video was a great reference, the Grado hemp sounds like an amazing headphones but for me on ear is just a no go, and in his words they are bright :D Any thought on the AKG k712 pro with Metal? the sounds stage is something that i seem to like.- eaglerock

Here is my modded Dt 990 pro, with 3 individual Mogami w2893 inner cables, rean and neutrik TRS plugs. Braiding is not very consistent, i started tight then mid way went went lose 😅 too lazy to redo it..- eaglerock

Ill try repairing again and see, i tried apt as I thought LDAC and my 320kph music might be too much but didnt help. It is very bad in crowded areas like airport, if im home then it works better.- eaglerock
