I didn't try them out for gaming, no, but given the must-have-struck-a-deal-with-the-devil-to-get-it soundstage possessed by the HD800 I would have said it'd be your best bet (assuming you apply the Anaxilus mod, without which most find the HD800's treble just too aggressive).
