Isn't street price right now $250.00 ? It went down from more than 400. I could probably afford those 250 bucks

+1 for the Shure SRH 840's, you won't be disappointed. Great Cans. And for the same price 250.00 CAD and even lower for street price

Look at the bright side guys... The K701s and K702s are going to be cheaper now as they're not the "flagship models". So if you want to upgrade from an entry level HP to something a bit better, you can just go buy a k702 for an affordable price. It would also be nice if AKG actually made these...

Actually, i just found out how to do it guys (by accident lol), if it's annoying for you too.   On the main winamp window, above were the equalizer is, there's a button with two arrows facing to the right with a little box to the right side.   If its on just, press it to toggle it off...

They do indeed... they'll probably deliver just fine if you're a basshead though.

Indeed!    Trying lossless with my speakers hooked up to my laptop, all the distortion is gone, and now I realize it's actually a decent pair of speakers!   Lossless for the win!
