The DIY Discman Repair Thread
May I ask you some additional information: I have this problem with an D25. It does not recognize the CD when flat on the table. So, what I understand from your post is that the spindle motor has to be replaced. Do you have an idea where to get a new one? Since it is difficult to find another...- chrishh

The DIY Discman Repair Thread
It has been a longer time since this happened to me. I have not found a direct replacement until today. But I found a different solution. I do not have a picture from it but I will try to explain what I did. Just in front of the axle, where this gear has to be fixed, is a metallic structure. I...- chrishh

I also have a question about a CD player. I took my trusty Sony D25 (D250) from the shelf after a long time. I had to replace the common trouble maker gear. But now it recognizes and plays a CD only when the unit is held vertically. After starting to play I can put it horizontaly again and it...- chrishh

Actually I have 2 Golden SanDisk ea 1 TB in my Ipod 5.5 installed in a quad adapter from Tarkan. It works flawless. Adding more than 2 TB seems to be impossible (according to Dankpods: ). So I have not tried with more cards.- chrishh

Just another question concerning the iFlash SD card adapters. Filling my 1TB 5.5th gen Ipod with many data costs much time. It uploads with about 3 to 4Mb/s. Has somebody tried successfully to fill the adapter and the cards with an external closure at the USB of the PC or the SD cards directly?- chrishh
