C7-P (Polarized) Cable Upgrade for Pioneer Elite A35-R. Is non-Polarized OK?
Hi Everyone, I have a Pioneer Elite A35-R two channel amp and I want to upgrade the power cable. The connector on the back is a C7-P: I was interested in upgrading the cable, but all cable upgrades, adapters, etc., seem to be made for regular, non-polarized C7 sockets: My...- atx 6speed

Physical volume control knob (add-on?) for monitor speakers
I have the TC Electronic Level Pilot and love mine. As for connecting it, you would need RCA to XLR cables. I connected my BX5As and sub to the knob from my Claro Halo and I love the knob. All I did was max out my Windows volume control, hide the icon in the tray, and I'm good to go. A bit...- atx 6speed

Oops, I forgot I posted in this thread! Anyways it was an EMU 0404 USB in white. I sold it and got an HT Omega Claro Halo and swapped all the opamps out for different ones. I loved the Emu for its features and very accurate sound, but the CPU usage in Vista was too high for listening to music...- atx 6speed

JVC HAR-X700 and 900. Two of the best dynamics? Am I nuts?
FYI Newegg just dropped the price to the same level as Buy.com. I got them to refund me the difference since I ordered mine last week.- atx 6speed

Sony MDRs and Little Dot I+ Don't Play Nice
I'm not necessarily dead-set on closed headphones, just headphones that really click with the Little Dot I+. I'm personally really leaning towards the Beyers myself, but I wouldn't mind looking at open headphones at the ~150 price range. I like listening to indie, rock, alternative, and 70s/80s...- atx 6speed

Sony MDRs and Little Dot I+ Don't Play Nice
Oh wow, lots of discussion going on here I'm not quite sure myself how much a difference amping makes because I honestly didn't experience much of a difference with these Sonys. I still believe that amping can be noticed, but these are probably not the right phones. So far I have it narrowed...- atx 6speed

Sony MDRs and Little Dot I+ Don't Play Nice
So I bought a Little Dot I+ amp to see what it could do with my beloved Sony MDR-7506s and the results are not what I was expecting. It doesn't sound bad, per se, but I don't hear much of a difference from before when my phones were un-amped. I can't really blame the forums, though, as my...- atx 6speed

Which Little Dot for 7506s?
I have a pretty simple question here that I think you head-fiers can clear up pretty easily for me. I have a pair of Sony MDR-7506s that I love and I am looking to get a Little Dot amp for them. My choices are either the Little Dot I+ or the Little Dot MKII. The LDI+ has an impedance rating...- atx 6speed
