I have a pretty simple question here that I think you head-fiers can clear up pretty easily for me. I have a pair of Sony MDR-7506s that I love and I am looking to get a Little Dot amp for them.

My choices are either the Little Dot I+ or the Little Dot MKII. The LDI+ has an impedance rating of 8-600ohms vs the LDII, which has an impedance rating of 32-600ohms. My headphones are rated at a very low 24ohms.

Now it seems to me like the logical choice would be the LDI+ because it can handle 24ohms, but I'm not 100% sure. Price aside between these two amps, which is a better choice for these phones?

Solid State such as the MK V
300 ohms: 187mW
32 ohms: 500mW

OR

A Hybrid like the I+
150mW @ 300 ohms
300mW @ 120 ohms
800mW @ 32 ohms

BUT NOT

Something like the LD II
300mW @ 300/600 ohms
200mW @ 120 ohms
100mW @ 32 ohms

The LD II is suitable for high impedance headphones, not low impedance like yours.
