Cowon Plenue D
Well I just set up all those settings, with the small amount of songs I've tried it seems as though either the first or third will work the best (with a slightly more balanced Mach3B of 1-3). Thank you!- AcesZ

Cowon Plenue D
Hello fellow Cowon users, I'm looking for a replacement for my good ol' J3 (unfortunately its' battery rarely charges properly) and the closest I've seen is the Plenue D. Is it a worthy replacement as far as usability/UI/battery go? Not using any high-end headphones (currently using SoundMagic...- AcesZ

Those are ~250$ here :| I've been searching a bit on the forums and it seems like the Shure SRH-840 are quite recommended for Metal. Their price here is also pretty much the same as it is on Amazon. How well will it fit my other requirements though? Quote:- AcesZ

As far as I can see both are unavailable here. Anyway, according to the specs on Ultrasone's webiste the HFI-580 has a 3m cable, so that's not an option (it's also the main reason I don't use my M50's out of the house other than the ear-pads). As far as the HFI-780 goes, the price is over my...- AcesZ

Hello fellow Head-Fi'ers, I need a recommendation for new HP's. Budget is around 100-120$, maybe even up to 150$ if there is something worthwhile fitting my requirements. I'll be using them with my iAudio/Cowon J3 loaded with MP3's (not planning on using FLAC on this device if that...- AcesZ

Quote: So if I want more portability it's the M50 and less portability for the AD700. Anything else I should consider at this price range other than those 2 cans? Or are they the best for their price?- AcesZ

Hello fellow Head-Fi'ers, new to this site. I've been looking and reading around for the last 3-4 days to step up from my current cheap headphones. About 80% of the music I'm listening to is Metal (mostly thrash, heavy, symphonic and progressive) and the rest is rock. As a beginning bassist as...- AcesZ
