Sennheiser HD 660S2 thread
And for DMS HD650 have better bass extrention than 660S2 so we've got chaos of contradicting reviewers:ksc75smile: But honestly I guess unit variation as well as different gear people listen to is part of the answer. Oh and btw there's no way S2's MSRP is going to sustain 600$ for much longer...- GoodBoy

Exceptional in Every Detail: Say Hello to the IE 600
Concur to that, actually the cable is of high quality, well made and nice to touch. Never had a slightest urge to change it. However I mostly use it stationary so my opinion would vary if used more/mostly outdoors. Same with me and I don't mind it. It kinda hovers over ear less skin contact...- GoodBoy

Sennheiser IE300 Review & Measurements
Will you answer the question? You said IE200 are "neutral", but just looking at their frequency it clearly is not the case I remember when IE300 came out and some claimed these are netrual too,... Listening to IE300 don't hear any harshness up top not with stock silicone tips. It's interesting...- GoodBoy

Sennheiser IE300 Review & Measurements
IE300 was already that before IE200 and most of the time at the same price or even cheaper. I already told you in a different thread when I'm planning to do the testing, but obviously you are not interested to address concerns coming from many reviewers I quoted. Why supposedly "upgraded"...- GoodBoy

Sennheiser IE300 Review & Measurements
IE200 are V-shaped too, but less exciting than IE300. I'm surprised already much warmer and darker IE300 was piercing to you while IE200 much more prone to that, at least tunning-wise is not. Did you compare them both using same tips and was it the stock ones? So far most IE200 reviews are a...- GoodBoy

Sennheiser IE300 Review & Measurements
You are obviously lying because I didn't post this comparison yet you claimed I did. Headfonia comparison been posted by me as well as majorhifi's take on IE200 high-end which in case you didn't get I will highlight here:- GoodBoy

Sennheiser IE300 Review & Measurements
Yes I'm sure and suggest you read again what's been posted. You asked about the treble I already gave you two sources, while you gave nothing only trying to turn so so reviews into praise for IE200. The majorhifi review was not reffering to IE300 so why you made seem like it did?- GoodBoy

Sennheiser IE300 Review & Measurements
Well it can be useless to you, but he dosen't need comparing IE200 vs IE300 to hear somewhat fatiguing treble in the first one. Nor does majorhifi review https://majorhifi.com/sennheiser-ie-200-review/ Despite extended IE300 high-end it never gets piercing, at least not to my ears, probably...- GoodBoy

Sennheiser IE300 Review & Measurements
From my experience sticking to stock tips/pads is crucial if you don't want to mess with the tuning, which generally applies to most sennheiser headphones. Even more so those with boosted bass. Don't care much for graphs as they not really represent how hd sound besides general tonality. That's...- GoodBoy

Sennheiser IE300 Review & Measurements
I'm guessing it's more about the fit, gear and prefferences. My IE300 never gets boomy maybe because I'm using silicone stock tips, there's probably a reason why they're so thin and actually don't make a full seal I mean they create enough sound preassure but I can still hear people talking with...- GoodBoy

Sennheiser HD 660S2 thread
My HD599 which are same chassis as HD560S have significantly less clamp after few months of almost everyday use. In fact there was perceivable difference in just weeks. No need to manually bent them.- GoodBoy

Sennheiser HD 660S2 thread
Really hope S2 is a step up over others in HD6 lineup. Tried HD650 to me they werent much better than HD599 to warrant huge price markup. In fact I stick to latter mainly because of soundstage and imaginng. People have contradicting opinions about HD660S, maybe S2 will do better.- GoodBoy

Sennheiser HD 660S2 thread
My thoughts exactly! :) In fact I still stick to HD599 'cuz prefer open soundstage with good bass even at the cost of better vocals and scalability within HD6-series. I'm hoping 660S2 brings some significant improvements in that aspect combing best things from both lineups.- GoodBoy

Discover a new world of sound: Make way for the IE 200
Oh I see you want only positive vibes about the product. Go ahead "nitpick" most favourable reviews and rave about them, but pls stop telling others what to post. Obviously brand reps are here to say nothing wrong about the product, that's their job. We the consumers, and passionate audio...- GoodBoy

Discover a new world of sound: Make way for the IE 200
MSRP of IE300 is 300 euros, Amazon offered them multiple times at 130-150 euros. Same thing will happen to IE200 only this time price will be reduced from msrp 149 euros to something like 80-100 euros respectively. It will happen most probably within 6-8months since launch, if not sooner. I...- GoodBoy
