SportaPro! For real though the PortaPro was how I convinced a die hard beats fan they weren't the best out there. He still likes beats but is now well aware they are overpriced. Long live cheap audio!

Quick lesson not meant to be rude. Optical media like CD and DVD is spelt Disc with a C. Magnetic media like HDD is Disk with a K. Anyway parent told me the same thing. I told them it didn't make sense to pay more money for a lower quality MP3 so that's why I buy discs. Guy alI bought a PortaPro for said youtube to MP3 (192kbps thank god)was better than CD. I explained the whole 1411.2kbps thing. In the end it doesn't matter to me. I like my CDs

Same. I also don't notice the difference between the Line Out with E1 and headphone out on my iPod. Despite the E1 being more powerful.

Different bit rates of lossless files? Either I'm dumb and misinterpreted that or that's placebo. Theoretically all Lossless files should sound the same, and the same as Uncompressed. Encoder problem?

I realise different lossless encoders have different bit rates, but it should all sound the same as CD or uncompressed 1411.2kbps.How interesting.

well, my WMA file of one song is at 320kbps, while my WAV file of the same song is at 1.41mbps.

the 320kbps file was more congested sounding and had less bass detail and less treble extension.
