I decided to give these a whirl. Ordered from CTC. How is the isolation and micro phonics?

 
 
Isolation is top notch and mechanical cable noise is present when wearing down but pretty much non-existent when wearing over the ear.

I tip rolled and put on some old Comply olives and it's a beautiful synergy with the A73. Very comfy, and excellent sound sig. I ordered some new ones, since these are really old. Comply Tsx plus 500.

I will compare to W40, UM3X, SM3, SM64, Sony EX1000, FX700, T-PEOS H300, Titan 1 and so many others. But just if it is to keep. Of course, honest opinion.

Sony EX1000 was one of a kind. Worst 500€ IEM I have ever tried. No fit. lol.

Which size of Complys did you use? And is the Tsx500 worth $21 or are the stock tips good enough?

This is absolutely amazing, and goes against my understanding of gear synergy. You'd think that a warm earphone would sound bad with a warm amp, wouldn't you???
 
The A73 pairs so brilliantly with the Audio-gd NFB-15.32. The Synergy is one of the best I've ever heard! Everything is just so flawless, organic and natural. Been relistening to all my favourite Daft Punk tracks, and I am just melting in my chair!

As much as I hated its treble, I still miss it a lot. I regret returning it. I plan to pick it up again. Had that certain je ne sais quois
